I visited on Feb 29th, an arm of my glasses had come off. I didn’t have the tiny screw. A very kind lady repaired that immediately and free of charge. Very good customer care, even though my glasses hadn’t been purchased there and I was a first time customer.At a different optician I had previously been charged £5.

Absolutely fantastic service every time I visit. Tom and the lovely lady on reception are brilliant — genuinely caring, friendly and always happy to help. They really take the time to make sure you find the right glasses to suit your face and style, without ever feeling rushed. The customer service is excellent from start to finish and the huge choice of glasses is better than any I have seen in the South West. Highly recommended to friends and family as well as anyone looking for a first class opticians!

The only word for Huxter and Davy is outstanding. Every step of the way, they are professional, welcoming and thoughtful. It’s like being with friends and the best bit is they are a local independent, not a high street chain. You won’t be disappointed!

Managed to break frame of reading glasses. So I went to Hunter & Davy in Looe. Helped me pick a new frame that matched existing lenses. All sorted in a few hours. Excellent service,

Visited the Padstow opticians and an extremely nice lady called Claire fixed my loose glasses leg. Gave me some very good advice and suggestions on how to keep the lenses from being scratched.My friend and I commented on how friendly and helpful she was.Thank you for helping us Claire.

They are fantastic. They helped my partner with an emergency eye injury rather than having to go to a&e, and they also fixed the arm on my glasses when they broke (purchased elsewhere). Would definitely recommend them to everyone!

I have a great pair of glasses after my old pair broke. Complex prescription completed very quickly. Always extremely helpful and knowledgeable.
