First time at Huxter&Davy today ,very impressed.

As soon as I entered the shop and saw the frame types on display and Julie welcomed me, I knew I’d found the right place to get my eye test and choose my new frames….always a stressful time for me. Sarah and Abid other members of the team were equally professional and were able to help me make correct choices.Excellent customer service. Thank you for all you help.

My father recently had an appointment at this optician, and the experience was amazing from start to finish. From the moment we arrived, they made him feel truly welcome and valued. The staff were attentive to all his needs, continuously checking in to ensure he was comfortable and doing well throughout the visit. Having visited other opticians in the past, my father often felt like just another number in a chain, with poor customer service that made him feel incompetent when asked questions. They never took the time to make sure he was positioned correctly or could see the screen properly, and if anything went wrong, it was made to feel like his fault. To make matters worse, one clinic even canceled his appointment at the last minute with no consideration for the transport arrangements he had made. Finding this place has been an absolute blessing. It’s truly mind-blowing to see my nearly 80-year-old father leave with a smile on his face, feeling genuinely cared for and respected. I cannot praise this optician enough for their exceptional service and kindness. This will be the place I bring all my family and recommend to friends

If you need a repair on your glasses 👓 Huxter & Davy are at hand. My mum needed a repair on her glasses and the optician she is with was miles away from where we are staying in looe. Above and beyond the ladies at reception went for my mum much appreciated 100/100

Tom in the Kingsbridge store came to my rescue today as I’d broken my reading glasses. I waltzed in asking for help and he could not have been any more pleasant and obliging. If you’re going to choose glasses, I’d highly recommend you visit the Kingsbridge store. Thanks Tom.

Lovely optician, highly recommend! My nose pad had broken on my glasses and Huxter and Davy kindly got a replacement ordered in and fixed my glasses in record time. Will definitely come back when I need my next pair! Thank you ☺️
